Travellers’ Tales shown at Sheffield Documentary Festival
Travellers’ Tales, The Real Lives of Young Gypsies and Travellers the film Gritty made with young Travellers in Wales was screened in this year’s Videotheque at the Sheffield Documentary Festival last week. The film is a combination of interviews and animations by young people to respond to the negative representation of the community in the media. Sheffield Documentary Festival invites up to 70 specially selected films to participate in the Videotheque from this year’s submissions. These films are invited with market, broadcast and festival acquisitions in mind.
