Salmon Stories is a fun app to teach children about the life-cycle of the salmon with artwork created by young people. Recommended for players aged 6 upwards.You’ve got ten chances to see if you can get a salmon up the River Taff to spawn. There are obstacles along the way and tricky questions telling the story of the salmon and the river.

The app was developed working with young people in communities in Merthyr, and Senghenydd in South Wales and is designed to be used in a classroom, or home setting. It takes approximately 10 minutes to play through the app and can be used as an educational tool by teachers and parents to introduce the subject of sustainability to children.

The app was developed by Gritty Games and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Caerphilly Arts Development.
